What faith it takes to be used as an effective vessel for the glory of God. We simply cannot be accomplished in His work if we are still relying on the ways of this world- of which, we are sojourners here; this is not our home, but we are here temporarily (ref: 1 Chronicles 29:15).
How do we become an effective vessel? Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. We cannot show disrespect to our Lord as we have disrespected our parents.
In Romans 4:16-21 (New King James Version), Abraham was blessed by being a father of many nations.
16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”[a]) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; 18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”[b] 19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
What would it take to take such a responsibility? Faith and trust- unwavering. Seeking Him EVERYDAY. Yielding to the Holy Spirits promptings. Living according to the ways the bible teaches us to live! No body can really tell anyone what that really means. People get married without really understanding what is required by God to have a successful marriage according to His ways.
This faith is yet another cornerstone of what God is telling me what it takes to experience His fullness in us. We cannot go through the motions, wandering aimlessly in our own thoughts and deeds and actions. We don't care what laws of God we need to follow. We don't acknowledge His existence here on this earth. We live according to the wisdom of science that this world tells us to. Not in His limitless abundance, not in His supernatural existence. We accept the limitations of science, not by His unlimited resource and power.
