Joshua 1:3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.
It has been very interesting to see how the Lord is building me up, teaching me His ways... but also the way of the enemy.
This is to say that certain things have had to come to pass so that I could learn from them. Eph 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. There is opposition to all the work that the Lord has set forth before us and the enemy is going to be there to disrupt and destroy all that he can.
While I have been burdened to fight for the body of Christ- our church, even there, there is opposition. There has been some things shared and all of it has been rejected. Don't worry... its all good. Certain things have to come to pass in ordered for His glory to shine upon us, once we learn how to defeat the enemy on our own- through Christ and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Once He has strengthened us when the enemy defeats us, we are eager to fight again for His Will- in His body.

This is a fallen world.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Is it supposed to happen or is it in accordance to His will?
The wisdom of man is turning this world away from God for its own self righteousness. But, it that a good thing or a bad thing?
All I can say, is that we are at where we are supposed to be at... at this very moment. Satan has had his way turning everything away from the plans God has intended for us to enjoy.
Christ has begun His restoration process for everything that the enemy has destroyed. He is going to be healing the people and the land.
He may be your only Hope left, as it was with me. Do not rely on the wisdom of men. The work is His, not ours. Our ways is not His ways.
You gotta give it up at the cross. He will not help you unless you let it go. Why carry all your burdens when you don't have to. I can testify that He has restored me to what He wants in my life... not as I desired.

How do you feel when things aren't going Your way?
I am experiencing a lag in my life today that I cannot explain. I feel dead spiritually. Where is His Joy and Life at.
Imagine Christ, sitting on the right hand of God, looking at this world. What do you think He sees?
He is his own body... I am speaking of the church. Is He happy with the body that we serve??? That is the question we have to ask ourselves. Is He happy with the way... He wants His body to be served? Are we in tune with Him and His will?
My fear is that this body, that we served, is going to be judged one day. Am I liable, both as a deacon AND member of this congregation???
Whom is leading us... do I consider this body to be spiritually in tune with God and His will??? Is our session members seeking Him and His leadings accordingly; both personally AND as an elder?
In my efforts to reach out that have not produced any fruit, am I forcing God's will?... am I walking ahead of Him instead of following the path of which He has prepared for me? I cannot down-play what has been placed upon my heart. I tried to start a spirit lead team together to lead the church. As it turned out, the enemy just came in and took that away with his pride. I have begun to try again (I cannot say it is me, but Him whom has sent me), but to no avail at this point is anyone receiving anything or has pursued it. Am I but a clanging symbol... or is it by the guidance of the Holy Spirit???
Perhaps, in the eyes of many, I am only being arrogant and prideful against the opposition. What kind of statement is that??? A house divided will not stand. Will Christ pull our lamp stand from us? Do I continue to stay in this lukewarm body??? Or do I find a church with a 'FAMILY' atmosphere? We are to be a family, and if I must say, we should put it even before our immediate family- its that important. There is no fellowship. There is some division.
So, as I am in this valley of depression... is this the grieving of the Holy Spirit? Or is it just my own selfish ambition to come against the enemy in my views of 'fighting the good fight of faith? Do I continue to fight for Him, or do I just let it go from here. This is good fruit being produced, but what good fruit are be letting bypass our service to Him? Quite frankly, last Sundays service was quite good. A video was shown- not our traditional service. No one comes to Me, unless the Father draws Him. We had a decent size service that day... but is there better? But, only through Him. Only by full dependence on His work. Only by the checking of our spirit by Him. He hears our prayers, but when do we let Him pray through us?

What a waste of time
Are we actually using Him?
The term 'using' if being referenced from our childhood days. When we would play with a friend for a while until someone else comes around that has something more fun to do. We use our first friend to get us by, throw him/her away when we are done with them and move on to the next person.
I just 'used' God. I am using Him to justify the practice of seeking Him on a daily basis. At the time, it was more important for me to check on my email and facebook, rather than to seek His word for this day. The Holy Spirit is waiting for me when I come to my computer where I do my devotional. Basically, I blew Him off and made Him wait until I was ready for Him. How sad. And after I am done seeking my own way, then I have the audacity to ask Him... okay, here I am, come... come fill me- what do you have to say today.
Do you find it hard to seek Him as priority #1? That is work, either out of selfish ambition or the work of the enemy.
The word of God teaches us about 'first fruits'. First fruits is giving the first of everything in our existence that is righteous. We go to church on the first day of the week for instance. But it should not stop there. We will reap what we sow.
Tithing: We should give off the top... not what is left over. Or, give priority to our budget, then give if we have enough.
Out time: We need to spend time with Him, seeking His provision for the day He has prepared for us. Isn't it sad when we spend more time on our phone- or what ever it is you do, than with our Savior?
I am considering, even with fish, to give a portion of my catch away to someone.
With the first of the new year coming, we must begin to sow good seed so that we can reap later in the year. Thats how it works.
What is most confounding is that, where is God put by modern man today? We are becoming a more and more Godless nation. Our forefathers were pretty adamant in putting God first; both, for themselves personally and for our nation. Imagine in the eyes of the Holy Spirit, waiting for you to complete all of your "important" stuff before seeking Him.

The Body of Christ
Oh, how we miss the basic essential responsibilities that God requires for us to execute:
We must deny ourselves of our thoughts. The flesh is weak and can cause great destruction.
Tithing. God asks for 10 percent from the top- the first fruits that He has provided.
Its more about being in Love than something to believe in.
We cannot practice things that are socially acceptable in todays world.
Seeking Him everyday. Again, first fruits. This is the day the Lord has made. We must seek His provision for our lives. I have great plans for you- if we don't seek those plans, how can He accomplish this.
We must recognize the works of the enemy. We are to put on the armor of God EVERYDAY for the path of which He has provided for us. We must be ready to battle the spiritual battles- for we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of wickedness.
This is His body. He is the vine and we are the branches. He will do much pruning in our lives in accordance to His glory. We are to be a useful vessel to be used according to His will.
The works that we do must be set forth by the Holy Spirit, otherwise, we will be that of a clanging symbol. We must learn to rely on His promptings... it is His work, not ours. He will give us words at the time of need.
Jesus wants to fulfill His body. He wants to give spiritual gifts, a unique gift to each one of us that is different. We need to shepherd those that are spiritually hungry, of which, Christ will be calling to Himself.
These things that are spoken should be discussed and not be left alone as we have practiced in the past. Take this as confirmation if you agree in your discernment. I am ready to help you, our spiritual leader, to set forth the desires that have been revealed.

Faith
What faith it takes to be used as an effective vessel for the glory of God. We simply cannot be accomplished in His work if we are still relying on the ways of this world- of which, we are sojourners here; this is not our home, but we are here temporarily (ref: 1 Chronicles 29:15).
How do we become an effective vessel? Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. We cannot show disrespect to our Lord as we have disrespected our parents.
In Romans 4:16-21 (New King James Version), Abraham was blessed by being a father of many nations.
16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”[a]) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; 18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”[b] 19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
What would it take to take such a responsibility? Faith and trust- unwavering. Seeking Him EVERYDAY. Yielding to the Holy Spirits promptings. Living according to the ways the bible teaches us to live! No body can really tell anyone what that really means. People get married without really understanding what is required by God to have a successful marriage according to His ways.
This faith is yet another cornerstone of what God is telling me what it takes to experience His fullness in us. We cannot go through the motions, wandering aimlessly in our own thoughts and deeds and actions. We don't care what laws of God we need to follow. We don't acknowledge His existence here on this earth. We live according to the wisdom of science that this world tells us to. Not in His limitless abundance, not in His supernatural existence. We accept the limitations of science, not by His unlimited resource and power.

Impossible quest?
In my deep and dark standings, I am up against many facets of immovable mountains that are stacked up to the ceiling and as deep as it is tall.
The old Peter would be overcome w/ anxiety and loss. I can say that I am able to stand w/out sinking. I am also knowing that these mountains are not impossible to conquer. But, I know that I cannot do it on my own- I would just fail. But, in return to all the lies put into my thoughts, I know that Christ is here with me and if I ask Him to help and bless me, that I will be able to overcome all the mountains set before me.
I do pray for the troubled path before me. The old Peter would be cursing and accepting the eminent failure. But Christ does not want us to live like that. It doesn't do any good to complain and curse the situation- thats what the devil wants. But, instead, pray for it knowing that Christ has given a promise to see us through all that we are assigned to face in this wicked world.
Christ went through the worst trials, and we will face many of the trials He went through. The devil told Him all kinds of lies and temptations and He held on to the truth He brought in His teachings. He knew what the truth was when the devil was telling Him lies. It is the same for us... the devil tells us lies, Christ knows the truth, Christ is the truth... so shouldn't we be looking to Him as out Journeyman if we are the apprentice?
We actually do not know much about the truth, or how to battle against our current situation. When we store up all our treasures in Heaven, which is the word of God, the Holy Spirit checks our spirit and shares with us the scriptures need for the time.

cast this mountain into the sea
... why did you doubt?
A great story of Peter walking on water with Jesus. Imagine great anticipation when Peter asked "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”
Peter's faith was ever increasing. He knew there were no boundaries and anything was possible in the midst of Christ. What tremendous trust it would take to desire to walk on water.
29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous,[b] he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”
31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.
When Peter began to sink, his focus was drawn from Christ and refocused on the turbulent seas. He began to waver. When he began to fear, he started to sink. This is very much like to trials we go through. When we begin to devote our lives on a daily basis, are we not walking on water with Christ? Maybe, not literally, but we are walking w/ Him (it is amazing that God has made Himself known to us so we can fellowship with Him). If I am to say that He is in charge of our lives and puts us through many trials, why do we begin to waver once it begins? It is because we are not anticipating the battle that is surmount.
Do you put on the armor of God? Don't you think that Romans wore armor to wage their wars? They put on a belt, they put on a breastplate, they put on a helmet, they put on combat boots, they had a shield and a sword. They put it on as part of their duties, they put it on even if they new they didn't even need it. They wore it to be prepared against attacks from the enemy.
In our endless trials, how often do we waver by not being prepared for them. Do we not know that they are coming? Well, they are... But we just sit there w/ a bulls eye on our chest, waiting for something to knock us down. We are not expecting an attack and we are not prepared. When the attack begins, we respond to it by our own fleshly actions as it strikes- and we strike back in anger. The Romans would be vulnerable w/out their armor on and so are we.
When we put on the armor of God, we can be assured of ourselves that we are anticipating spiritual warfare. There are many scriptures that we can rely on to defeat the enemy. Thats when we use the sword, which is the word of God. We put on the belt of Truth- which tells me that there are lies in our battle. We put on the breastplate of righteousness, which encourages us to make the right decision. We put on the helmet of salvation- knowing that we are saved from this world. We put on the gospel boots- to ensure that the gospel of Jesus will be know. We put on the shield of Faith, of which we can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the wicked one.
If we put on this armor EVERY-DAY, we can be assured that He is empowering us to endure the trial to the very end. But, we must learn to trust Him, trusting that He is going to pave the path to victory- not defeat. It is not easy by any means. But that trial will carry out until you begin to trust in the Lord and be delivered according to His ways, not ours. We have to call out to Him, discern all our thoughts. You will hear His voice- maybe not literally, but you will know the direction He is guiding you towards.
You need to ask Him for His help and that You need Him.
You need to discern all you actions and thoughts... are these from the adversary? Will it do good or cause destruction? If you have reacted wrongly, you need to confront it right away and repent. You need to object to your actions. You need to rebuke satan for his lies. You need to praise the Lord and thank Him.
It all takes time to change.
The more we feed the fire, the more intense it gets. But, if we begin to starve all the negative thoughts, the weaker they become and the stronghold gets released. Thats how a battle is won through Christ.
Instead of falling through the water as Peter did, we need to learn how to endure the battles. And that takes practice. It is not impossible. You can have the faith to move and cast a mountain into the sea..

Prayer warrior
Philippians 4:6-7 (New American Standard Bible)
6(A)Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by (B)prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
7And (C)the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will (D)guard your hearts and your (E)minds in (F)Christ Jesus.
Through Christ Jesus...
... because He had victory over all trials of anxiety. My current issues I have dealt with in my own manner; in a worldly fashion that is natural in our reactions. Christ dealt with things by His own way. If we are to model ourselves after Jesus, then we need to look to Him in His teachings and guidance from the Holy Spirit. We will also have to find a way for us to trust in Him, letting go of our judgments and our convicting tongue. Instead, we should be forgiving regardless of the case. I will be first off to say that is very unnatural and very tough to do- BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE, BUT POSSIBLE.
There are a few hinderances that keep us from relying on our faith. Shame, embarrassment, pride. We are here to fight the good fight of faith. Not to accept the ways of our adversary. Do you not feel the attraction to sin, of which, draws us away from God?
Imagine if Christ came and raptured us up tomorrow, how would you feel about how you handled things in recent past. I certainly would feel ashamed as I am going up, knowing that I reacted on my own feelings and not giving it to the Lord in prayer.
When we take the opportunity to pray, we are abiding in the word of God- through Christ. We are letting go our problems and seeking help where we cannot- through Christ. We are letting go of the pain instead of accepting it- through Christ. We are fighting against it as well; fighting through Christ Jesus- not through our own thoughts. We are also hoping the situation will change- through Christ.
... with thanksgiving. No, its not turkey day, it saying thanks for something that will happen. Its saying thanks in your trial, instead of grumbling about it like how the Israelites did traveling to the promise land. OF WHICH CAN BE ANOTHER WHOLE STORY RIGHT THERE (They did not receive what God had promised them- think about that).
7And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Sometimes I try and even fathom this line, but I gotta say that this is surpassing my comprehension. When certain things are not bearing down on you like they used to, after praying for it, that is the peace of God guarding our hearts and our minds. And you very will may know that is happening by the prompting of the Holy Spirit... only then you will be very thankful that the pain is not there- but you will recognize the scenario is still carrying out. Thats call faith.
Instead, we should be forgiving regardless of the case. ... that You, my King, should die for me
What it means to be crucified. As I am getting a taste for what it meant for the God of Love to send His only begotten Son to endure such a tremendous death to the point of satisfying the wrath of God. To take on the worlds sin, what a tremendous responsibility. If we have accepted Christ as our Savior, how much suffering do we endure ourselves for His sake?
Imagine the onslaught of hatred Christ endured during His crucification. All the hatred and destruction of darkness was finally released upon Him with such virtuosity. To suffer the consequences of our sin in a payment by receiving an onslaught of relentless punishment, shame, guilt, pain, rejection, inflicting such pain. This is what Christ gets for coming and spreading the Truth of God to those amongst us? One of my favorite songs says, "Amazing love, how can it be... That You, my King, should die for me?".
But at what price.
Imagine the God of Love allowing such a gruesome death to happen to His Son. To His Son. For those fathers, imagine sending your son somewhere to suffer. What was it like for God to sit there until the very end when Christ said "it is complete".
Christ was a man who KNEW NO SIN, until that day when He... paid the price. He paid the price for OUR SIN, THAT 'WE' CAUSE. He paid the bounty of our death, on the cross; is that is to say that the penalty for sin is death, and He did that for us. Now, through Him, we have the forgiveness of sins and everlasting life. He paid the price by not even offering any form of currency; He only paid the price by turning Himself in. Exchanging Himself for us. Exchanging Himself for Barnabas, whom Pilate released as he gave a choice to the Pharisees to release Christ or Barnabas??? Are we not Barnabas?
He pretty much said: Here I am.
After thoughts:
Imagine all the coordination that God orchestrated for all of this to happen. For the gospel of Jesus to unfold. For Judas to lead the romans to Christ. For Pilate to wash his hands in his bowl from this situation and not judge Him, but to let the Pharisees have their way with Him. Everything happened perfectly. What does that mean. It means, that all the trials we go through... in the end we can say "it is complete" as Christ said just before He died. He was sent as a sojourner, just as we are- this is not our home. God authored Christ's journey here on earth, and God is authoring our lives. Christ wants us to trust Him in our trials because He endure them all and knows what the answer is. We have to tune in through our counselor the Holy Spirit to listen to God's plan for us.
Don't battle these trial by yourself, I can do all things through Christ. Without Him, I can do nothing. He is our Savior. Acknowledge all your ways before Him and He shall make your path straight.

Deny yourself
Are we empowered to do stuff???
Are we empowered to rebuke the enemy?
How can we do certain things without the filling of the Holy Spirit??? I think this is the main question.
It is not as I will, but as You will.
The Lord prays for us. The Holy Spirit prays for us. How often do we claim our own prayers as our own? How is it that the Lord knows what we are going to pray before we pray???
Sure there are times when I try and think of things to pray for, mumbling out requests. But, I think, more of it as seeking Him in prayer. Then there are times when prayer just takes off on its own as it comes out of our mouths. This is what I believe as "praying in the Spirit".
Often times I fathom at the prayers and scriptures that are recited. Those of which I cannot claim and give all glory to the Father, whom gives me what to say at the time it is needed. It is His will, not mine. He is the Author, not me. Sure, I have my times of crying out as David so often did, but it is the faith that has been given, it is the wisdom that has been given, it is the understanding that has been given. It is the righteousness that has been given. But, only when it has been requested, then it is given.
I just want to glorify God in this manner. Stating that we must act upon His will when the Holy Spirit checks our spirit. We must pray when He wants us to. We must share when He wants us to. We are His vessels and we can only do this when we deny ourselves from our feelings and thoughts and actions.

Moses gave up his reign as prince, only to endure the path set forth by God. He went through tough times dealing with tough people. His pleas were not automatic, but he persisted in the request of Pharaoh letting the Israelites go- ten times. He was lead in one nasty life of suffering. I would also say that Christ suffered tremendously while He was here as well.
But, I am here at this point in my life here at my parents, taking the brunt from other people and letting them degrade and put me down. But, Moses, after all he went through, did not fall into depression as I have. He went according to his deeds set forth my God. Am I to say that I have been sent here at my parents to some type of purpose? It is true only if I claim that God is the Author of my life.
Lord, this life is very confusing to understand all that we go through. But, You have a plan for us and we do not always like or understand what is happening to us. You are a promise for us. Our life is a promise. Your Will is a promise. Our situations is a promise. Help me to comprehend Your promise for my life so that Your Will be fulfilled. Help me to recognize Your presence here in my life and reveal Your provision to me while I am here at my parents. I know that I am not a victim. I know that I do not have to be depressed. I know that Egypt does not reign over You. Let Your Love fill me. Fill my cup Lord 'til I can't take no more. Let me share Your Love to those around me. Reveal Your solution to all the problems around us. Change our hearts from stone to flesh. Life has gone array, but You can restore it to Your majestic intensity on earth as it is in heaven. Prepare my heart to receive Your Love. I come back to the well for a refill. Carry me out this day. Shepherd me. I ask for Your wisdom. Let me fight the good fight of faith so Your presence be known. Whom is my brothers keeper and why? Darkness will fall and light will gain victory.
This is Your Promise God, Yours, not mine. Help me to recognize and act upon Your leadership as Moses has. He can do it, so can I. Christ did it, so can I. If I can do it, so can others.
Lift up my burdened heart. I have fallen as promised, so strengthen me as promised. The ball is in Your court, help me help You. I love You and need You in my life, others need You just as much as I. Have a great day, this is actually Yours anyhow. Love You.

Thank God for His word
Genesis 50:15-21 (New King James Version)
Joseph Reassures His Brothers
15 When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “Perhaps Joseph will hate us, and may actually repay us for all the evil which we did to him.” 16 So they sent messengers to Joseph, saying, “Before your father died he commanded, saying, 17 ‘Thus you shall say to Joseph: “I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did evil to you.”’ Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father.” And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.
18 Then his brothers also went and fell down before his face, and they said, “Behold, we are your servants.”
19 Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? 20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. 21 Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.
For God meant it for good..
Thank You.
I have always thrived on my bitterness and resentment towards my wife; based on all that has happened and all the choices she has made that has done nothing but cause a lot of pain, not only for me, but for my children as well. But, this is a view from my earthly reactions apart the perspective that God has invested in my life's growth and endurance that Christ had portrayed back in the day.
But, knowing that God has been behind these trials has put out any doubts that my life is on a bad journey. I have been severely depressed with no way of getting released, or so I thought. This is why it is so important to seek your devotional every day. Without doing so, I would continue on my spiraling fall without an end.
I had prayed that I let go of everything so that I could forgive instead of convict. So that I could move on. So that God could continue His restoration in my life. Before, I just wanted to burn bridges, now, I would like to bridge the indifference in the way I view life. I had continually wanted to die, reciting death chants, disregarding a desire to see the future of my children w/ their daddy.

Give us the desire of our hearts. What are we desiring? I can say that I have been dwelling on all that has happened to me and I know that a time will come when I am healed from it and will not be troubled by it. It does take time to heal. But, ultimately, God answers prays if it is within His will. But if we are not praying for each other, how can He give us the desires of our hearts?
In my many frustrations, I have acted out in impatience to all that has happened to me. I put up with foul mouths, nasty tone of voice, rejections. All because I do not present all my problems to the Lord.
To think that things are going to automatically happen because He is God and God will do what ever He wants, may not necessarily happen due to lack of faith.
Who is going to be our brothers keeper? That is us. We still need to pray for others as one of our responsibilities. I often just sit back and let people go about their ways that hurt me and wonder what God is going to do to them. On the other hand, Christ is so merciful and graceful. I wonder how and why God takes ones life in our numbered days. Is he shortening our lives due to the continuation of our sin or is it the consequences set forth by the covenant with God. The penalty for sin in the old testament is death. But Christ brought in a new covenant with God because He was sent to teach the word of God and by serving it.
We are here on earth to be responsible with everything the God gives us.
I often expect harsh punishments to those around me, including me, of all the sin that are caused against the word of God. I can't stand a potty mouth that just goes on without a desire to change. The Lord does hand us over to our own devices. We do have our own choices to make. In my rebellion, am I going about my own desires and being turned over to them? Or, am I going through a trial by God to learn something new...
As I wander in my trial, of which Christ says He will always be with us, I AM relying on my own thoughts and not standing firm in my faith. Instead of my faith, I am relying on my own thought process. So, as I fathom at this point in my life and see that the Lord is calling out to me, am I about to be delivered out of my trial and tribulation? My God given desire to answer His call is something that I cannot ignore. I am His sheep and I do hear His voice when ever I begin to wander... and I have wondered for some time. The amazing thing of it all, is that the Lord is ALWAYS there to receive us back... with arms wide open, no matter what we have done or how much we have rejected Him, or how I did not uphold His law that has been taught.
All in all, I have taken a depressive stance on other peoples actions that, over and over, has conditioned my heart in such an abusive way. That is not how Christ did it when He was here. Yeah, He did dispair, He did become troubled by the circumstances He was put through. But, He did not give in to depression as I have. He did teach us to not to dwell on the past. He did say that He is the great restorer of our lives. Why a restorer? Because there is one who destroys.
How many times have I written something to this effect? How many times do I look back and read what was shared with me?
I think the bottom line is that I must learn to re-trust Christ, knowing that I need to pray for those around me, knowing that I am only here for a short while. Knowing that I will be with Christ someday with no more pain, no more fears and no more tears. I CAN DO THAT. There is much going on around me and I need a savior as well as those amongst me.
Lord, can You lead me to share Your love for us, not the hatred that we are too familiar with. For I know that You can cover our minds and our heart with Your peace. This is not a perfect place, but You are with us to endure and not be held down by strongholds. I love You and need You is such desperation. Thank You for being silent in my life, but even more, thank You for calling out to me. I love You.

How much suffering did David actually suffer? How much suffering did Jesus actually suffer? How much suffering am I actually suffering.
If God is indeed in control of everything, we will be delivered of whatever trial we are in. No matter how long it endures, testing our faith to the ultimate utmost.
David, in my mind, suffered tremendously in ways I can now relate to. In todays readings, he waited:
Psalm 130:5-8 (New King James Version)
5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits,
And in His word I do hope.
6 My soul waits for the Lord
More than those who watch for the morning—
Yes, more than those who watch for the morning.
7 O Israel, hope in the LORD;
For with the LORD there is mercy,
And with Him is abundant redemption.
8 And He shall redeem Israel
From all his iniquities.
He waited and know, trusted, knowing that God is still amongst us. Standing firm in the faith that is gifted. I have fallen, harder each time in recent past. Trying to endure the circumstances that have become active in my Author's ways. But, I have had to go through it for some reason. I have had to go through moments to get to this point; not enjoying any moment of it and acting out in frustration and misunderstanding.
But, David has written what he did in his moments. Wait upon the Lord. As I spoke his words, it put me in his thoughts simultaneously w/ mine. Then I thought on how Christ waited for his death upon the cross- going through what no man has ever gone through. Painfully turning Himself in to the authorities of the land, knowing what was going to happen. He gracefully cooperated and humbly responded in His godly manner. But, Christ waited until it was all accomplished- His tenure here on earth, the shedding of His blood, the forgiveness/mercy for those whom persecuted Him.
David continually cried out to God and continually waited for Him, knowing things had to come to pass.
I thank You for Your word and for revealing and ministering to me in my attempt to seek Your wisdom for my life. My heart cries inside, knowing that You are always here and waiting continuously for me. Lord, help me to wait for You, as long and with such promise as You wait for me. Help me to release the walls and strongholds that I have put up and have strangled me. Restore me and prepare me a life from this point forward.
Thank You

My heart cries inside, knowing that You are always here and waiting continuously for me. Lord, help me to wait for You, as long and with such promise as You wait for me. Help me to release the walls and strongholds that I have put up and have strangled me. Restore me and prepare me a life from this point forward.
Thank You

In it to win it
Resist the devil and he will depart.
Come to think of it... it does work. As I resist temptation and deal with it immediately and resist it.... it does depart from my thoughts. But, when a seed is sown and given birth, it will carry on and live. I am talking about temptation. I can testify this is how it works. I know when I am going to sin and will-fully cave in and commit a wrong. Then I gotta ask for forgiveness and repent of the sin.
This world is ruled by a prince- the prince of the earth. Thats satan. He takes every opportunity given to cause destruction in ones life. Even if he knows that he could be defeated. And we are powerless on our own against temptation. In our natural state, we loved the ways of this world... lust, vanity, love of money, pride, self righteousness. The Lord says to depart from evil. That is to say, that the way of this world is the wrong way to live.
Did the Lord our God depart from this world of evil? Yeah, He defeated death and risen to the 3rd Heaven. In a sense, He did depart from evil.
This worlds living structure is based on a system that our earthly desires is very in tune with. The structure is based on principalities and powers, here to rule the earth and to deceive us in its ways.
Eph. 2:8-10 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own
doing; it is the gift of God--not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are
what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works."
For we are what He has made, created in Christ Jesus 'FOR GOOD WORKS'.
For good works.... not bad works. Not the way of this world.
My heavenly experience is very contrary to the natural system of this world. I have learned to receive what has been blessed and try to be happy with what I got with thanksgiving. I have been scoffed at by waiting on the Lord for employment. I do apply for work.... but it is as if it is a waste of time. God will put me in a the proper placement in His own timing. But for now, my needs are being met by faith. In this process, it is very humiliating before others... or HAS BEEN, but now I am resting in the hands of the Lord- and I must say, without the shame I once held on to. Receiving His teachings and provision in my life, trying to surrender myself and yield to His guidance. Trusting that He will restore my marriage, financial prosperity, unemployment, vehicle, home, separation from my children, dealings of this world. But, I know inside that He has my back and that is what I live by... that is all that I have left. Just Him. There is a song that I heard yesterday... that I am well spoken for...
Yes, I have spent countless hours in agony and pain and turmoil, But, I can say that I have made it this far. And I gotta give credit where it is due- to my Lord Jesus Christ. He has seen me through it all. He has carried me. He is healing me. He is restoring what was stolen by the enemy.
I have cried out in anger and did much rebellion against Him in ways a young child throws tantrums. I did this by the thoughts that was provided- by the prince of the earth. And I acted upon them. I focused on myself and became angry... just as the crafty one intended for me. But, He called out to me... I, as a sheep, recognized His voice and returned back to Him. All this time, in hindsight, I know that all this has been planned for my life. Knowing that it is for reason(s). This is not to say that the enemy still doesn't try and derail me, but I know that when he does, I can recognize it and confront him with the Armor of God.
God does work in mysterious ways- as they say. Sometimes.... no, much of the time, we do not know what or how He is guiding our lives in His Will. And our emotions will often object to what is happening at the moment- so we got to recognize those thoughts and depart from them... and wait for the Lord's response in the situation, so He can reveal the 'out' of that particular trial.
Because, He is always with us. He will give us an out, He will never leave us, nor forsake us. But, guide us if we turn to Him and learn to recognize His voice.

Be persistent in asking
When Christ was here in the flesh... people continually asked for His supernatural healing when ever He appeared. They asked for His help in what ever situation they we in, and He continually helped those who asked.
One thing that has been happening a lot lately is finding an item that has gone missing. It has happened enough times that I am should write and share about it.
I had a missing manual that was found.
A watch of my mothers that was stolen ten years ago was replaced by the offender.
A stinky odor that could not be found.
Golf clubs.
My mothers recording device that we look for intently for several days, only to be revealed upon asking.
In what ever case, try asking Him to reveal the lost item in prayer. He is here amongst us. We should continually recognize His presence here in this world. Tell Him that He is needed and that we love Him, and that He would Love us.
p.s.- there was one woman in the bible that did not receive in prayer what she was asking for... but she was persistent in her request that she FINALLY got what was asked...

...not as I will, but as You Will
Lord, help me to meet your Will. Help me to put my desires aside and to focus on what your provision is for my works. You say that I was saved so I could do good works. Well, I am signing up for these good works and will wait for your directions. As I wait in anticipation for Your movement, prepare my heart and mind so that I can receive Your Wisdom.
I cannot deny what you are doing in my marriage even though I still have much judgement and confusion for what happened and for what I want and desire. For I truly know when I can really let go of our past, it is until then in your perfect timing, I must be patient and pursue this inner Love that resides in me.
Thank you for putting me at ground zero. For I really have had everything destroyed in my life. But, I cry out to you 'O great restorer for your mercies and grace to be granted in my life and those around me. Increasing our vision and hearing to admonish Your works. Prepare us a heart of flesh from our hardened hearts, light us with Holy Fire for the glory and advancement of Your Kingdom.
Lord God, I can only say that You are going to do what You are going to do. But, I know that I must ask for You to prepare my heart and mind to receive Your Wisdom, because I am unable to prepare it myself- unworthy for Your Holiness. But it is not about me... IT IS ALL ABOUT YOU. I can, with Your help, come before the foot of the cross and fall to my knees, letting go my past and the promise of Your future in me. It is my prayer that You send prosperity now, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Confusion??? or Understanding
What an amazing Life we can experience if we only surrender to it.
As I continue to realize... or rather- as I continue to present myself to the Lord my God, He is teaching me much about His Mystery; that of which is truly hidden until it is revealed. But, my earthly desired-life keeps getting in the way. There is a song by Tenth Avenue North that sings... 'don't fight these hands that are holding you'. In other words... we naturally desire to live on the desires and naturality of this world while the Lord is holding us, directing us, teaching us, guiding us, ministering to us. He says that I got you- pretty much right where He wants you... right in His hands. Seeing us through our trials and tribulations, always there- never forsaking us or leaving us; to ensure that we WILL MAKE IT THROUGH ALL OUR TRIALS SAFELY AND WITH VICTORY.
The more I meditate and seek Him, the more I am learning that we are to live by Grace and not by our own ways.
Your ways are not My ways.
It is no longer I live, but Christ Jesus who lives in me.
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works."
But, as I live my own life, I have realized that it is not I that has to even -live- it. Yes, it is my life and I can do anything that I very well please. But if I empty myself and make my self available to the Lord, then I can Live the Life that He has intended for me to live.
For I have great plans for you.
“As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel”.
So whoever cleanses himself [from what is ignoble and unclean, who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences] will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honourable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work.
But if I do not surrender myself and seek His Will, then how can God do His work in me if I do not present myself to Him? Other wise I am just wasting an opportunity to live a perfect life....... hmmmm, just as Christ did.... CAPISCH? But, perhaps this is very far fetched and impossible and contrasting to the word of God. We are, after-all, designed to be sinners. But, then again, God wants us to conform to His own image- which is Love.
The bottom line is we are put through sufferings as ordained by God Himself. We will fall, but He is always there to help us, to call out to us, to shepherd us, to reconcile us through Him to God. In Him we have a new covenant with God through Christ... after all, before the coming of Christ in the flesh, the penalty for sin is death; but Christ came and died and rose so we can be pardoned of our sin by the shedding of His blood.
There is much process that is in my mind to discern all that is shared with me... I just want to say that, because, when I am not seeking Him, I am not feeding on the daily bread that is offered for each day.

20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20
In the history of my life, I fathom of how will people go to receive Christ. People go about their lives living in their own desires and ways happily forever- in their own eyes and without the need for Christ. They think of Christianity as just a religious act of craziness, even though they may acknowledge that God does exist. Many lives will be lost without accepting Christ as Savior. But, all the work belongs to God, so it is He who draws us, ministers to us, helps us, dishing out consequences to us.
I have struggled much lately... but only after flourishing with Life. And I question how and why I am living such a fruitless life this week. It is because I am not sowing the right seeds... or any seeds for that matter. Because the Lord renews us daily with His mercy and grace, we too must receive this and sow seeds that are given for that day. I find that when I do not seek the Lord everyday (not sowing seeds), that I begin to struggle with hopelessness. And when I am not sowing the good seeds, I am actually sowing fruitless seeds that lead to destruction. So, I guess I better get back up on to my feet and stand on the foundation that has been provided for me.
I have been a lowly man, living with financial struggles, marriage, unemployment, unable to provide my children with the basic necessities needed to live. That is who I am. That is who I am in the 'flesh'. I am set up as failure on my own. But, as I acknowledge whom I have been and what earthly promise I have- I will continue to be a 'nothing'. And this is the problem when I begin to live on my own.
In actuality, I need to put all my focus on the Lord. So that He can fulfill His Will for me. He tells me that 'He has great plans for my life'. Really. Well, I have been focusing on my own plans for my life, marriage, house, transportation- stressing out in all of the above. He tells me- 'do not worry about tomorrow'. He also tells me that 'He is my provider'. He tells me that 'He loves me'. It is no longer I who live! Well, that is great news for me because I am probably one of the greatest of failing people on earth.
How do I seek His provision, especially if I do not pray or ask for it? How do I find out what His plans are for my life, so I do not have to worry about tomorrow- He is my provider, but only if I can glorify Him. I can say that He has done much pruning in my life; saying that... He has pruned my of everything in my life- just so He could get through to me and my wife- so that I would have nothing but Him left.
it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. I gotta look at this verse and say... here ya go! Its yours. I gotta put my life on the track and push cruise control. Because ya know what??? I wanna truly Live and do what I was designed for- to serve Him. Christ did not come to judge the world, but to serve it. We too must come in the name of Jesus Christ- not to come and judge the world, but to serve it in Christ. We often judge others in our lives in many fashions, and we do it a lot. But, Christ wants us to forgive each others seven X seventy. The greek word for 'forgive' is- let go. LGLG- let go, let God. Only One has redeemed us. Only One has paid the price for our sins. And, only One is worthy of forgiving. Yes, it is tough to give things up and put them at the foot of the cross... and if we don't- what we hold onto is judgement, resentment and bitterness. I can only say this from experience; and I have experienced it many of times.
This world as we live in, CAN be easy to live in... but only if we can truly receive the Love that will not hurt us. And by faith, I receive.
Thank you Lord for all that you do for us. For you forgave and forgive us of all that we do wrong against you, but all too often, we do not even forgive those who trespass us. You pardon us, even as we convict those around us. Forgive me for living is such a wicked way- for that can only come from the adversary... but I want to live according to your provision in my life- for I know that You have great plans for me. And Lord, could You help me to seek those Plans... because I can only do it with Your help. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Imagine everything that happens in our lives... happens with purpose.
We are ignorant before God. Even the greatest of minds that have learned the ways of this world in a business manner- are but simple men and women before Him. We are nothing before Him because of the fact that we can offer nothing as far as insight in God's Will for this Life- where there is no time, there is no currency, there is no doubt, there is no second guessing. But, even those that have been put in charge of commissioning this world in a business manner- Presidents, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary of Treasure... many positions given to very educated people by means of a 'gift'.
God created us- He gave us a personality, He gave us hair, He gave us a heart beat, He gave us wisdom in how to invent things (of which- those are His inventions from His Wisdom).
I am not as crafty and quick thought as my brothers, I am not as intuitive as was Albert Einstein or the Wright Brothers... or Benjurmin Franklin, or that cave man on the Geico commercials. All have had significance in the history of this existence. Although I do not know if they claimed the glory for themselves or not....... or, if they gave the glory to whom Wisdom was given to process such great and knowledgeable information.
We are all different. Let's look at ourselves in this body and look to see what characteristics God has made us into. I am but a simple person- and 10 years ago, I couldn't even fathom thinking of writing for the One whom sent me. Here is what I see... Pastor Nathan- our spiritual leader... brother Paul- our financial support... sister Connie and Marie- business administration... brother Walt- our worship inspirer... Marilyn- a beautiful singer... some people are great supporters in setting an example for coming to church faithfully. There are many talents amongst us. Each one of us are here for a reason. Each one of us has been given a desire to accomplish something. It just wouldn't make much sense if God gave us all desires be financial gurus, would it???
Pastor Nathan has 'shared' that he cannot do everything himself; to a degree in one fashion or another. He has been humbly calling out to us to find our true talents and desires to help Him... help the lost... and to help others amongst us. I don't think that he is being overburdened, or... being taken advantage of... but............. it is actually God that is desiring growth in His body. God wants to use us for the advancement of His Kingdom.
There is a structure that our Lord desires for us to conform to. Not necessarily by means of a formal business Presbyterian format, but in a way that is most useful to Him; for the advancement of His Kingdom by means of spiritual gifts. Much has already been put into place, but there are a few empty positions that are open that we should identify. Perhaps, we can identify those positions and this can be drawn up on chalk board in the near future and with prayer, we can anticipate with amazement what has already been put into place for tomorrow.
Peace be with you,
Brother Peter
The amazing thing about prophesy in the bible was it all became active. People of the time did not know when things were going to come to pass- but they did. But, as I share such insight- I cannot claim these words as mine. This letter must be approached with much discernment and be waited on my means of confirmation.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Amen.

Matthew 4
1Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.
John 5
v.18 Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father;
19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. ******
30 I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.
36 But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish—the very works that I do—bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.
John 6
44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’[e]Therefore everyone who has heard and learned[f] from the Father comes to Me.
63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. 65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”
Matthew 6:13
...For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
John 12
v.44 Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. 45 And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me.
49 For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.
50 And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”
John 5:44 How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God?

I call out to My sheep, and they hear my voice and come.
No one come to Me, except by the Father who draws them.
I will perfect the work in you until the Day of Jesus Christ.
We are given free will.
It is our own choice to ask Him into our lives.
Some of us are just camping out in the valley.
He will guide you through all trials and tribulation.
Seek- you will find, ask- and it will be given, knock- and it will be opened to you.

"Forgive them, for they know not what they do"
"Forgive them, for they know not what they do"
Interesting verse, eh?
The tough question to ask is: Is the Lord Jesus Christ forgiving them? He does not say, I forgive you for what you have done.
Perhaps, as things happen to us that we do not like, we too can say: "Forgive them, for they know not what they do". In this, we are forgiving them and handing our scenario to the Lord to let Him judge them according to their ways.
Now the Lord had experience every type of temptation. He knows what we go through. He did, if I may say, understand the human flesh and how weak it truly is.
You will not inherit the Kingdom of God, except through the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who do not receive Him as Savior will not enter into the Kingdom of God.
It is very hardening to understand how many people will not enter into God's Kingdom. They are, in fact, a creation of God. God truly does Love them. He instructs us to Love you enemies and to pray for them.
One other tough question is: Where will hell be when the New Heaven and Earth are put in place??? The book of Revelation speaks of the Lake of Fire, but does not say much about it other than that those whom Christ says "I did not know you", and are thrown into the Lake of Fire.
It is my prayer that everyone, whom is a creation of God, makes it into Heaven. But, the bible talks about our names written in the Book of Life as well.
The bottom line perhaps (in my own wisdom) is that: The Lord is continually open to receive everyone that invites Him into their lives. So, a tough question is: Is the Lord going to give them another opportunity to receive Him at the time of Judgement? However, contrary to the Word of God; of which I desire to yield to.
But there is MUCH Mystery that God is withholding from us. In the book of 3 John 2:13-14 I had many things to write, but I do not wish to write to you with pen and in; but I hope to see you shortly, and we shall speak face to face. SOOOO, there is much more that the Lord wants to share w/ us...

Trust
Is trust something that is earned???
In the story of the Prodigal son, it is apparent that it was not. The father seen him far away, and the father ran to him with love, mercy and grace; receiving him even before he arrived.
Trust in the Lord your God. How can we say that His trust is earned??? That would just be wrong... but, perhaps, He continually shows that He wants us, calls out to us. As we wander in our own destruction, we often leave Him and the trust we have in Him when things do not go our way. This is the human falter in our flesh, this also could be known as the 'thorn in our flesh'.
It is almost as if He trusts us to answer His call and go back to Him... repenting and asking for forgiveness. Though, as often as we reject Him, He STILL holds no grudge against us and continually shares His Love for us.
The Lord assuredly knows what we go through; He has gone through immense trial in the wilderness for 40 DAYS!!! I do not know what He went through... but, I am sure
Its as if... if God did not trust His Son to go into the world; He may have not sent Him. This is just pure speculation that does not hold any order. But, may I look at this... knowing that if God puts me through faith-building trials- He 'IS' trusting me to endure the trial to the end. But, we can only pass this trial only when we keep our trust in Him.
But, when we fall and leave Him in our own desires, we gain resentment, bitterness, unforgiveness and anger. But, how do we get back to trusting Him according to His ways??? I think by His mercy and grace. He IS 'LOVE'!!! But, it is only when He shows us or ministers to us in a fashion that we simply cannot turn down or away from. He is continually calling out to us when we wander.
There is a start contrast- AND PERHAPS THE LARGEST CONTRAST- between the flesh and Holiness. Though, we live in the flesh, we do our best to conform ourselves to His image;
So, as I look at my wife and I... there has been a lack of trust; and for me, lost any trace of trust in her. Is it still fare for me to say that I 'forgive' her? Perhaps, I have forgiven her in the fact that I have entrusted all that has happened to my Savior. Let go of the resentment, bitterness that I burdened for a period of time, and, our of faith, have forgiven her.
But, my dilemma is... if God Will is to reconcile us as one, I am unable at time to fully receive her back. Why??? I do not trust her. Is it because I do not want to have anything to do w/ her until she surrenders her life fully to Jesus? Could this very well be a judgement that I am holding against her?
Now, certain things have had to come to pass to get to this point. At one point, I did not fully understand what was going to happen to us. I had basically written her off, as well as our marriage and was moving on with my life; taking care of my well-being and moving forward, not relying on the past; as the Lord say 'do not dwell on the past'.
But, as God has revealed revelation in what is to come; ref: the book of Philemon. I am dealing with the notion that I have already set my path for divorce. But, I guess I gotta let that go in order to receive her- not grudgingly, but lovingly and voluntarily. So, as I wonder how I can do so, it is relatively difficult. And the problem is that I have lost the trust that I had in her; BUT, is this something that... in my human flesh, that is typically earned??? Many of people have said that trust is earned.
Never-the-less, my ways are not His ways, my thoughts are not His thoughts...
So, this is my prayer that, by faith I can receive her back just as my Lord receives her back- with thanksgiving and praise. Huh, just as the book of Philemon.

What does God actually do for us and how???
What is the 'CORE' that is behind what God does in our lives? That is the question. I am gonna let you think about that one for a while.
God is......... LOVE. So, my question to you is..... what is LOVE???
Love is........ the WILL of God. Soooooo, what is the 'WILL' of God???
God is in control of His invention, His creation. Only He is the One that knows how everything works- He makes it work. It is not mere physics as perceived by man. What makes acid burn? What contracts my lungs so that I could receive oxygen? What gives a seed wings to glide to its final destination. God has invented and created the earth, as well as those whom has pasted away, those living and those that are to come. It is very confounding in my fleshly wisdom, to know that God created 'YOU'.... 'B-E-F-O-R-E' He created the earth. And, yes, our days are numbered here in this 1st heaven.
How does the trees know when to grow pussy willows??? How do the birds in their migration know where to go??? As I have watched the documentary show on the Discovery Channel called "Life", the thing that is revealed to me is the complexity of God's creations- many I have seen that I could not have imagined myself. These things are incredible! What fun it must have been for God to invent millions of creatures- many of which are not even catalogued by man to this day!
But... 'WHAT' gives these things existence??? LIFE.
What is 'LIFE'??? Who gives it???
God is the giver of Life, the Author of Life. Only He is the One that giveth and taketh away. He is the Supreme Authority in what is... the 1st Heaven.... the 2nd Heaven.... and the 3rd Heaven; That is.... the earthly atmosphere.... the outer space.... and the Heaven where God is- the True Heaven.
What about the earth? The earth belongs and is ruled by the Prince of the earth- Satan. It is true, that the enemy can only do what He is allowed by God. But, let me get back on subject...
God is Love; the Pruner, the Restorer, the Builder, gives us Guidance, gives us desires, compassion, grace, mercy, duties. All on earth is done for His Glory, for Him, by Him- and allowed by Him.
ALLOWED BY HIM??? Yes, He is the giver of life. He allows trials and tribulations to happen in our lives. But who sets forth the trials and tribulations? That is done by our adversary- satan. The most glorious thing about this, AND YES IT IS GLORIOUS, is that the Lord our God gives us a 'get out of jail' card- meaning that He gives us a way to get through our divine trials that we go through and He delivers... us... from the grasp of the enemy.
I can testify many of times where I have been delivered. That is not to say that I have not rejected my trust in the Lord. In fact, I have rejected Him many of times... and so have you- knowing or not knowingly.
Peter rejected Jesus 3 times.... 3 TIMES! All probably in about 30 seconds!
The enemy will try and derail the believers in Him, to draw away the attention and trust in His Holiness- this work of the enemy will make us weary. And often times when we get weary, we begin to sin- and that is what the devil wants and why God sent His only begotten Son, not to judge it- but to serve it... to save it.
At that point, we have gone into our fleshly desires in the attraction of the ways of this world. We are going to fail. We are going to fall. There was only One person that was Perfect. There was only One who defeated ALL trials. There was only One who conquered the grave. And we can be saved by His stripes in His Resurrecting Power. What is that Resurrecting Power?
The Resurrecting Power is the power, the notion that nothing can bind Him, nothing dragged Him down. Hmmmm, nothing dragged Him down- now that can be debatable....
Just before Jesus was going to turn Himself in, He said a prayer to God. In Mark 14:32 Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” 33 And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed. 34 Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.”
Even He faced perhaps the greatest threat of temptation; not wanting to abide in drinking of the bitter cup. He said a prayer: 35 He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. 36 And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me;
He prayed that He could not face what was going to happen to Him after He turned Himself in. And you would think......... THAT WHAT EVER THE LORD DID HERE WAS DEVINE. That even His prayers could be answered. But, no. He relinquished and let go of that prayer as He continued to say in verse 36: nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.”
Hmmm, a prayer that God did not honor. A prayer, that God may have never heard. This is very confounding again. There is no sin in God. He is the purest authority, we cannot comprehend His INTENSITY. The Intensity of God is soooo powerful, that not EVEN the angels can look at Him. So there is no wrong in God. There is only the WILL of God. And God is going to do what ever He wants- and He does. He does not need our suggestions in how to run things. Our ways are not His Ways.
Lets look at 1 John 5:14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
He hears us. Is it possible that God did not even hear Jesus' prayer to take the bitter cup away??? Wouldn't that be going against the WIll of God??? Wheeeeew, Yeah, that's something eh? That is deep and needs much meditation. Hmmmm, the Lord did come in the flesh. The flesh is weak. He did not come on His own Authority. Imagine that... God sent His Son to be in the flesh. When Jesus came and was born out of Mary's womb, He gave up everything or was not allowed to take His Eminent powers or Holiness w/ Him. And of what purpose would it have been if He was absolutely pure in Holiness when He went into the wilderness for 40 days to face much temptation??? He came in the FLESH!!! He became weary as He walked, He became hungry, He became angry (but for purpose). Deep people.... DEEEEEEEEEEEEP.
Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. - This indicates that we CAN make REQUESTS be made known to God. Hmmmm, but it does not say to make your fleshly desires know to God. This scripture can say that we should look and pray for the Will of God and not what we desire. For Paul wrote to the Philippians:
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
Paul states in v.9 - saw in me, these do. Paul was an Apostle. His portion was given according to His faith; that is to say that he was very in tune w/ the inspiration of the Holy Spirit; he had a very close relationship w/ the Lord and did exactly as he was told, just as Jesus did what God instructed Him to do. Paul knew the limitless God, there were no boundaries, no hinderances that would fully separate him from God. And that is no different with us. We too can have a limitless empowerment, but only through the Lord Jesus Christ.
As we seek His Mystery, God is behind EVERYTHING that is to happen here on earth. True, there is a surplus of evil things that happen in this world that often hurts us. And I may say that the enemy has put those who practice sin in bondage. They do have his veil covering their eyes. This statement is pretty BOLD, and may not be received very well. God will turn them over to their own desires as well. We all make our own choices.
We are very much like lost sheep in these times when we wander away from Christ, that is not because He does not care for us... but, we can be drawn away by the craftiness of the adversary.
John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
When we are wandering in our flesh, Christ will call out to us because He values us. And if we value Him, we will return. We will have to repent of our sins.
Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
He is a Loving Lord our Savior; He corrects us. He teaches us. He thickens our Armor of God that we should don everyday. He s-a-v-e-s us.

They shall run and not be weary
Isaiah 40:28-99 (New King James Version)
28 Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the LORD,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary (keep this verse for later). His understanding... is u-n-s-e-a-r-c-h-a-b-l-e (you cannot find it).
He gives! He gives! He gives! power to the weak (thats us, if you claim that you can stand on your own- you are foolin' yourself).
And to those who have 'NO' might... He increases! He increases!... He increases strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary. (They are strong, full of energy, compared to those of older age. BUT, they shall faint and be weary!)
And the young men shall utterly fall. (Even the greatest of athletes, who have toned their muscles, who go through cardio exercises- who try and achieve top shape so they can compete..... but they shall 'UTTERY' fall. Not just fall- but 'UTTERLY FALL!--- these great athletes).
But................ those who 'wait' on the LORD (wait for something, 'EXPECT' something from the Lord, for those that wait for the bus... you know its coming.... when it is not there on time, what do you do.... keep waiting for it to come. At one point in my growth, I would go through trials- sometimes I would UTTERLY fall, sometimes, I would patiently wait out the storm- of which, you may go all the way through the storm to the very end. But, if you wait and seek Him, He will send you a message..... why He put you through that trial) ------ But, those who wait on the LORD----SHALL renew their strength.

The Apostle Paul in the book of 2 Timothy 4:14-17 was under great stress from Alexander:
14Alexander the metalworker did me a great deal of harm ( in this chapter, Paul was scrambling for help/reinforcements). The Lord will repay him for what he has done. 15You too should be on your guard against him, because he strongly opposed our message.
16At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them.
((((((((((((((Lets back up to verse 9..... 9Do your best to come to me quickly, 10for Demas, because he loved this world, has deserted me and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. 11Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is helpful to me in my ministry. 12I sent Tychicus to Ephesus. 13When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, and my scrolls, especially the parchments.))))))))))).
(lets continue in verse in 17 in 2 Timothy) 17But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion's mouth.

They shall mount up with wings like eagles (We will rise above this situation), They shall run AND NOT BE WEARY, They shall walk AND NOT FAINT.
In the Trinity, being... God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit- all are equal, but they do have their own duties. God can be referred to as "The Will".... The Will of God. The Son is our Savior, only though Him can we be reconciled to God, only though Him can we enter into the Kingdom of God..... He is much like our attorney for us before God, petitioning on our behalf before God- protecting us from 'God's Wrath'. Let's look in John 5, verse 22 ---Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son,.
But, WHO delivers His Will to us??? By the Power of the Holy Spirit. God the Holy Spirit..... delivers and places--- desires/actions/burdens upon us. But, how do we hear Him??? We must deny ourselves, our actions, our thoughts.......BECAUSE, the flesh is WEAK. We need to focus on the thoughts He provides us. This is just an introduction of how God desires to USE US and how He administers His Will to us.... or how He desires to STRENGTHEN US..... when we UTTERLY FALL.

Things I need to surrender:
- idleness
- doubt in having a job provided to me
- resentment vs. my wife in how she has taken the kids to a far away place
- pain in missing my girls
- my emptiness
I carried a ton of resentment towards my wife and that just seemed to make trouble in my life quadruple. I cut out Facebook, playing games w/ my wife, talking to my wife; being non-social. But once I kinda let go, a lot of the burden was also let go.
As I am today, my 'life' seems dehydrated. Dead as a result of living on my own values; or the world values and not keeping my faith in my Lord.
live by faith and not by sight.
I CAN:
- live w/out my girls until spring
- God will provide a job for me
- Things are going to be all right
6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Utter Helplessness
One thing that I have and that the Lord wants me to experience is utter helplessness. I am in a point in my life where I feel like I can do nothing. Nothing correct. The only thing I do is eat, sleep, exercise and be in the word of God. I have no job; no source of income to provide for my wife and children.
But, as I try and see if from God's perspective, what is He doing in my life. I believe that He is in the restoration stage in my life. I need much healing and understanding of how He want me to handle my current situation. You see, I am reaping what I have sown in my life. I had premarital sex that basically conceived my marriage. I acted on my flesh and went my own way apart from walking hand in hand with my Lord. He is the giver of life, and when I went on my own destruction path, I ruined God's plan that He had in mind for me. So, it is my belief that He is restoring my life back to what it was once before. Meaning, that He is getting my life back on track with His will.
The Lord walked upon a tree and He was hungry. He seen that it did not BEAR FRUIT and said, "bear fruit no longer".
A season has passed where things will be put to death, and a season of new growth will emerge.
What is God pruning in my life?
All things word together for my good.
He is the author of my life.
Our days are numbered... We did not bring Him any glory in our marriage, just destruction.
Peter fished all night and got nothing. The Lord instructed him to go into the deep water and cast the net there. They captured a net so full that they needed help to retrieve it. I am seeking divine instruction. Nothing is working out for me as I continually apply for jobs; I am just casting my net by my own works as Peter did fishing. But doing the work as instructed by the Lord will be blessed.
The work of man will not prosper; but the work of the Lord will be blessed.
I can do nothing to persuade my wife, as I perceive her as wandering according to her own flesh (I believe that God has allowed her to be drawn away). Even I have concern for my children as they endure life w/out their daddy. I can do nothing in my wife's relationships with her former lovers. I can do nothing that will keep her from the bar life in Nome. But, I CAN pray about it. I can be granted His peace if criteria is met. The consequence of holding onto resentment caused by her actions is destruction, depression, denial, anger. In exchange for the consideration of holding onto this resentment is asking for the protection of His peace. It is...... an automatic protection of Love. I know the pain 'COULD' hurt me- it is there, but I cannot acknowledge it- I do not care about it. I can just 'KNOW' that His peace is cushioning me from the potential hurtful actions.
I can't help that I can say that I am not well put together, lacking wisdom of the world. So I have nothing to contribute in a worldly fashion. So, my only hope is to go to the Lord in my weakness and ask for His help while I am here on this earth for a little while. I am banking everything in the promise of the word of God.
So, what do I have to do in order for God to have victory in my (His) life???
- Immerse myself in the word of God.
- Begin a consistent, daily prayer life.
- Yield to the convictions of the Lord.
- Learn to anticipate His guidance; hear His voice in a more personal note.
I can say that it is my intention to do what He has designed us to do on earth- that is to serve Him in His will. To raise up disciples and spreading His gospel. To follow in His footsteps and adhere to His teachings and abide in His law.
There are many of people out there hurting in such depth that are in need of a savior. It is my prayer that the Lord would prepare my path before me, seeking provision in ones life that comes across my path. To pray for everybody that comes across my path- as the Lord has prepared it for me. Amen

Issues
I gotta lay down some thoughts/trials that I am facing at this time.
I am having issues in dealing with many aspects in my life that are detrimental to my faith if I do not handle them accordingly.
First, I miss my kids. My own flesh and blood. My highlight of my week; seeing my girls and not being able to hold them. But, what makes it more difficult is... knowing that they are suffering at the same time not being able to see their daddy. It is as if they are now nonexistent to me; like they are fake or not real. They were prominent in my life and now they are gone- just like that. It is hard for me to talk to them because...... I can't see them and it is hard for me not to be there as they are growing up.
I cry out to my Lord in pain as my eyes water. I had at one time, peace in this situation- but that has passed. In what ways can God restore my situation. I think that there are several situations in the bible that correlate to mine. Job. Joseph. David.
I have had this questioning in me- Is God in control??? Well.... I opened a box that I got from my wife's house. In there was a book from Charles Stanley called "Is God in Control?" Albeit, that is what I am looking for. So I read about half of it today, applying the book and thoughts and scripture to my life/situation. I am so glad God has brought this into my life (I have no idea where it came from).
Second, I had put up a wall of defense. I am tired of being abused and taken advantage of verbally. I have lost self-esteem in this matter and out of frustration, WILL NOT PUT UP WITH IT. My dad, mother and wife.
